Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Eliseo Noboa took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marílio Amado. Marílio Amado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jorge Vasques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Caetano came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vasques in the 13th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Caetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primatas FC's Marílio Amado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Primatas FC's Henrique Caetano got a free kick in the 21st minute. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrique Caetano went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Vasques, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Pedro Ganete hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Primatas FC's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marílio Amado came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Primatas FC defense, Eliseo Noboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marílio Amado. The Primatas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marílio Amado should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Primatas FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Caetano in the 42nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Caetano in the 45th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Jorge Vasques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Primatas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Vasques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Vasques to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vasques in the 57th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Caetano might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Henrique Caetano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 88thth minute of the game Henrique Caetano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vasques in the 96th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primatas FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
