Real Llull de Reus's Sabri Erdoğan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Real Llull de Reus from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute C.J. Braut Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Orlando Tafalla hit a great ball. Gabriel Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. After the first half Real Llull de Reus were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. C.J. Braut Haaland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Real Llull de Reus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rafael Casanova in the 53rd minute. Sabri Erdoğan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. In the 90th minute of the match Real Llull de Reus got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafael Casanova ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rafael Casanova made a great header on Real Llull de Reus's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save.
