Alin Gârbovan started the match with the kick off. Mihail Zbârlea was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. 3 minutes into the game, one of Gashka Nebuna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Astor Gotzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Jdeica, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Astor Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 10th minute of the match. Astor Gotzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alin Gârbovan kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Gotzon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Moises Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Gotzon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Gotzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Cristi Muslea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gashka Nebuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristi Muslea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Iordache Blajovici threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gashka Nebuna's Astor Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 37th minute of play. Astor Gotzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astor Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 53rd minute of play forced Gashka Nebuna's goalkeeper Astor Gotzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Gotzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Gotzon was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Gashka Nebuna's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Astor Gotzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alwin Wipplinger kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alwin Wipplinger, made in the 75th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Alwin Wipplinger in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. In the 91st match minute, Gashka Nebuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alwin Wipplinger to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Gashka Nebuna's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sebastian Villa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Astor Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Honduras players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
