Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andy Hendrickx kicked off to start the match. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Montenegro in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Blue Beast's Tomm Aelemans. In the 7th minute, Luis Andino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Hendrickx in the 11th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Eddy Huijgens in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Blue Beast's goalkeeper Eddy Huijgens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Cempeners in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Blue Beast's Dany Bastin got a free kick in the 19th minute. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eddy Huijgens could save by the left post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Cempeners, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Blue Beast were awarded a corner. Tjorven Caspers went to the cornerflag to take it. Andy Hendrickx was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Blue Beast's Eddy Huijgens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Beast from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Antonio Cempeners shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Hendrickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Blue Beast got a freekick which was hit by Niki Van Den Hout. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Eddy Huijgens in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Eddy Huijgens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddy Huijgens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 54th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Huijgens having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Beast's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddy Huijgens came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Huijgens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Blue Beast's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Eddy Huijgens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eddy Huijgens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Felix Montenegro sped through Blue Beast's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eddy Huijgens. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blue Beast's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute, Tjorven Caspers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Blue Beast's Andy Hendrickx got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddy Huijgens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Huijgens having to interfere. Primitivo Andino's late challenge caught a Blue Beast's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Andino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Hendrickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Blue Beast's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Eddy Huijgens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Beast's Eddy Huijgens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tjorven Caspers.
