Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Teobald Karanewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Carpathians's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matei Răducu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cazimir Feteanu scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matei Răducu. Carpathians's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Teobald Karanewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Teobald Karanewski took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th minute, Troizen Giannakopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carpathians's Matei Răducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Matei Răducu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Teobald Karanewski's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobald Karanewski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Teobald Karanewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Agustín Saelices got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matei Răducu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 35 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matei Răducu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Teobald Karanewski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 3-2. Teobald Karanewski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

In the 60th match minute, Carpathians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercan Sabahaddin to maneuver through the defense. Carpathians made a substitution. Laurențiu Iurea replaced Troizen Giannakopoulos. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Teobald Karanewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpathians's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobald Karanewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobald Karanewski scored 4-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carpathians's Stefan Dobay was substituted for Teobald Karanewski. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Matei Răducu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Dobay came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Dobay in the 88th minute of play. Matei Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
