The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Peru booed when Knight Of Dawn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Fonda didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th match minute, Knight Of Dawn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Fonda to maneuver through the defense. Knight Of Dawn made a substitution. Qiu Yuan Jun replaced Teta Grande. After a rather tough play, Knight Of Dawn's Celedonio Fonda got a free kick in the 77th minute. Qiu Yuan Jun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Urtats saved Knight Of Dawn from getting behind. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henri Soucy, made in the 86th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Knight Of Dawn's goalkeeper Denis Urtats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Knight Of Dawn had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
