Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Eicke Brocker started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. 12 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thorsten Benscheider narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eicke Brocker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes in the game, Eicke Brocker fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 18th minute, FK Partizani Tirana's Eicke Brocker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 23 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Partizani Tirana's Zwi Gilgen. But to his dismay, Zwi Gilgen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Eicke Brocker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 4-0. FK Partizani Tirana's Tommy Clason suffered a concussion after 32 minutes and had to leave the field. After 32 minutes, Lautaro Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the FK Partizani Tirana players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eicke Brocker in the 35th minute of play. After 43 played minutes FK Partizani Tirana got a freekick which was hit by Philipp Vieten. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Nico Zeitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zwi Gilgen in the 55th minute of the match. Eicke Brocker took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 65th match minute, FK Partizani Tirana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Zeitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Nico Zeitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Zeitz in the 69th minute of the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Eicke Brocker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eicke Brocker, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a FK Partizani Tirana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FK Partizani Tirana booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Meibeck in the 98th minute of play. FK Partizani Tirana walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
