Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ivo Guterres came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abílio Passos in the 16th minute of play. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivo Guterres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raul Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Guterres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 41st minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Guterres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Chile got a corner. SC Freiburg 09's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Chile's Xavier Figueroa to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivo Guterres despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. Nuno Bragança sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freiburg 09's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Guterres came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 58 in the game by Orlando Casaus from a close distance when the talented Ivo Guterres managed to make a qualified save. SC Freiburg 09's players were relieved. After having played for 59 minutes, Nuno Bragança managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nuno Bragança struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Freiburg 09. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Leal in the 63rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nuno Bragança hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a little luck, SC Freiburg 09's Ivo Guterres got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Máximo Lameiras kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ivo Guterres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 84th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Mariano Lacasa sped through SC Freiburg 09's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivo Guterres. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Orlando Casaus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Guterres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.
