The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jörn Hellsing hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Boomerang Bombers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ture Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 10th minute. Henry Tolsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Tolsson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Henry Tolsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arman Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Billy Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boomerang Bombers's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Carl Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Askelöf was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 47 played minutes Boomerang Bombers got a freekick which was hit by Dag Jonsson. After recieving a nice pass, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Arman Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arman Högström scored 1-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carl Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Henry Tolsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boomerang Bombers's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Tolsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Carl Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 81st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Boomerang Bombers's Billy Sundberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 96 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Boomerang Bombers were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Venezuela to leave the ground with a draw.
