Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torrey Molloy in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 5th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Brujas KV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Inge Marin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play forced Brujas KV's goalkeeper Inge Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Thorvald Egfjord kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. When Brujas KV's David Rios in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Rios's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Marco Chuse hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Marin having to interfere. Brujas KV's Inge Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brujas KV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Inge Marin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Inge Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of the match. When Torrey Molloy fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brujas KV's protests and gave Torrey Molloy a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Brujas KV got a freekick which was hit by Torrey Molloy. In the 42nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Brujas KV's Óli Manfredi was substituted for Torrey Molloy. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goalkeeper Inge Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óli Manfredi in the 60th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Styles in the 61st minute of play. After 63 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Rios's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Brujas KV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zygmunt Wielkopolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inge Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inge Marin having to make a save. Inge Marin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Inge Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Inge Marin made a huge save. Thorvald Egfjord's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The corner ended in Thorvald Egfjord almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Brujas KV's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inge Marin came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Brujas KV had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
