Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, GNUSKALLARNA's 朱骋凡 got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timmy Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Löfgren came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when GNUSKALLARNA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Hammarberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Herman Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes of play, GNUSKALLARNA's Daniel Beckeman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 朱骋凡 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when GNUSKALLARNA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villiam Thorsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to GNUSKALLARNA getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Villiam Thorsberg hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 朱骋凡 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. In the 43rd minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Villiam Vedholm made the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Löfgren in the 55th minute of play. After 55 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the GNUSKALLARNA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Vedholm in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Daniel Beckeman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benito Sanz, passed just outside the right post. In the 69th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Vedholm in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GNUSKALLARNA's Torsten Hammarberg got a free kick in the 81st minute. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Torsten Hammarberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Torsten Hammarberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 89th minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GNUSKALLARNA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
