The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl Askelöf was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boomerang Bombers.
