Alessandro Del Bello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Panama were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Ribera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. The corner ended in Abraham Alguacil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ribera's Alessandro Del Bello did a great save. Ribera made a substitution. Anfilogino Santoro replaced Edmondo Braccia. The supporters of Ribera booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Angelo Cavanna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Del Bello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 19th minute. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Ribera's Alessandro Del Bello managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 21st minute, Angelo Cavanna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ribera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Abraham Alguacil scored to the left of an out of position Alessandro Del Bello, making the score, 1-0. Matthew Garrido hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Panama's Alessandro Del Bello threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidoro Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abraham Alguacil hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Ribera's Hans Wery in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. With an all-out effort, Panama's Alessandro Del Bello threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Alessandro Del Bello successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 39th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Wery in the 45th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Ribera booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Del Bello having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. Ribera's Alessandro Del Bello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 68th minute of play forced Ribera's goalkeeper Alessandro Del Bello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Panama booed when Ribera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Onori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Wery in the 80th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Ribera's Anfilogino Santoro. But to his dismay, Anfilogino Santoro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
