Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviano Huilcaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silviano Huilcaman in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, HİSAR's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Edvin Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güvenç Deveci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Güvenç Deveci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the USA defense, Güvenç Deveci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. HİSAR were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
