Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorenzo Osasun went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lorenzo Osasun scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gernando Guerra made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Cunha in the 24th minute of the match. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciriaco Lekubegi in the 25th minute. The corner led A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Juninho Paiva to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lorenzo Osasun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match A.F. Pindamonhangaba got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciriaco Lekubegi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 28 minutes, Ulisses Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.F. Pindamonhangaba and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulisses Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Osasun in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Lorenzo Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Osasun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half A.F. Pindamonhangaba were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 50th match minute, A.F. Pindamonhangaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Lekubegi to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Luís Gustavo Cunha took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Lorenzo Osasun might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Osasun ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match Ciriaco Lekubegi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match, Lorenzo Osasun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Lorenzo Osasun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-6. If Lorenzo Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Osasun got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Lorenzo Osasun got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.F. Pindamonhangaba played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
