Lidon Bernardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lidon Bernardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Lidon Bernardo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liu Tian Zheng got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualter Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th match minute, Tigre das Américas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Peres to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Madureira made a great header on Tigre das Américas's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Rigoberto Mina charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Mina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lidon Bernardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tigre das Américas's Liu Tian Zheng got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, Tigre das Américas's Lidon Bernardo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lidon Bernardo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Tian Zheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Irinel Iliuță struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigre das Américas. In the 67th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lidon Bernardo in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Tigre das Américas's Irinel Iliuță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Lidon Bernardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tigre das Américas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Felippe Amorim replaced Lidon Bernardo. 85 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Tigre das Américas's Felippe Amorim in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After 99 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Raphael Madureira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. There was no doubt that Tigre das Américas were the better team. Tigre das Américas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
