The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Panpili in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The supporters of Arribeños Sur booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arribeños Sur's goalkeeper Orla Haxmark, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orla Haxmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Orla Haxmark. Arribeños Sur's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. Daniel Zorita scored 3-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orla Haxmark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orla Haxmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 83rd minute of the match.
