Eliézer Correia helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Correia. Denílson Negri made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Denílson Negri made in the 8th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Endrik Edmundo immediately put the ball in play. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Floresta Club U18's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas de Souza in the 13th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo de Brito having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilmar Castro in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Floresta Club U18's Léo de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Douglas de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Lautaro Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 47 minutes into the match, Tomé Reis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes in the game Denílson Negri did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tomé Reis. After 57 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Ruy da Rocha. Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza suffered a concussion after 60 minutes and had to leave the field. After 62 played minutes, Floresta Club U18's Ruy da Rocha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Floresta Club U18 reached it. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Remo da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Léo de Brito. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 71 minutes of play, Floresta Club U18's Vito Maia made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 76 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Remo da Rocha. Léo de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 82nd minute of the match. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Floresta Club U18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Léo de Brito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Castro came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Castro in the 92nd minute of play. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Léo de Brito having to make a save. Gilmar Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
