Cristo Elivareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Daniel Zorita scored 1-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristo Elivareo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristo Elivareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Elivareo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 50th minute, Ecuador's Luis Andino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristo Elivareo. Cristo Elivareo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Celio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Brais charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Brais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Barrialito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Brais. In the 56th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristo Elivareo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Lucas Brais got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Brais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Elivareo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Cristo Elivareo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes in the game, Daniel Zorita fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cristo Elivareo having to interfere. A hard shot 73 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Cristo Elivareo managed to make a qualified save. Barrialito AFC's players were relieved. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barrialito AFC's Cristo Elivareo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Barrialito AFC from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the game, Luis Andino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristo Elivareo. Luis Andino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Agustín Saelices might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristo Elivareo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sebastián Puig came free, but Cristo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Barrialito AFC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Elivareo came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristo Elivareo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristo Elivareo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julian Torres hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
