The referee ignored Poli Dream Team's protests and gave Florencio Mon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Florencio Mon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Poli Dream Team's Candido Euloxu. Candido Euloxu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Honduras booed when Poli Dream Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Iraido didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Moises Tafalla. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Candido Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Kemen in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Euloxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sebastian Villa fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Poli Dream Team's Natalio Kemen got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Poli Dream Team's Natalio Kemen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-1 after 36 minutes of play. Candido Euloxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natalio Kemen made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Kemen in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Kemen in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Poli Dream Team getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. David Erlantz hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the game, Florencio Mon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Christian Sancho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Kemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 75 minutes Poli Dream Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. Poli Dream Team:s Candido Euloxu showed great skill when he stopped Edmundo Espiga:s penalty. The excitement rose when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga after 78 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Poli Dream Team's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-2. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Florencio Mon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Poli Dream Team's Candido Euloxu. Candido Euloxu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Candido Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Florencio Mon, made in the 96th minute of the game. The Poli Dream Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
