Stefan Kalak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 16th minute, Perry Bollaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Del Acuerdo's Stefan Kalak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced Del Acuerdo's goalkeeper Stefan Kalak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefan Kalak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Stefan Kalak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play forced Del Acuerdo's goalkeeper Stefan Kalak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Del Acuerdo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Del Acuerdo's Stefan Kalak managed to reach the ball for a save. Stefan Kalak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Del Acuerdo's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Stefan Kalak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Del Acuerdo made a substitution. Jeremias Pepillo replaced Teofil Narbut. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stefan Kalak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Kalak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Stefan Kalak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Del Acuerdo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Del Acuerdo's Stefan Kalak managed to reach the ball for a save. Del Acuerdo's players were relieved. 71 minutes into the match, Del Acuerdo's goalkeeper Stefan Kalak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Del Acuerdo's Stefan Kalak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Del Acuerdo from getting a goal against them. Stefan Kalak made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Rumaldo in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Kalak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. Del Acuerdo made a substitution. Jesus Baraquiel replaced Sebastian Daunte. Del Acuerdo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celso Rumaldo in the 86th minute. Stefan Kalak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Kalak. Del Acuerdo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Del Acuerdo's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Kalak came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Celso Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Del Acuerdo.
