The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lei Cheng Bang came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, 卓桦朋 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Uhlbäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The Bollklubbens IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Uhlbäck should have stopped the shot. When Bollklubbens IF's Wiktor Strömqvist in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Bollklubbens IF's Leo Uhlbäck got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line.
