When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Richard Mccarthy sped through Pesqueira City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mădălin Lunca. Koby Wright might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mădălin Lunca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Koby Wright ran back to his position shaking his head. Mădălin Lunca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Quintals short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Jax Williamson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin da Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koby Wright in the 52nd minute of play. Canada's Theo Burton was substituted for Rohan Watson. Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter George, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Edwards, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Pesqueira City's José Pedro Borges got a free kick in the 79th minute. Canada made a substitution. Prince Anderson replaced Carter George. The Pesqueira City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Canada were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
