After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Colling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play forced Fågelmara IK's goalkeeper Tom Colling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fågelmara IK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfons Siggesson in the 29th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Siggesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Fågelmara IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Esbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustín Saelices took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tom Colling. Tom Colling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tom Colling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaspar Veetõusme in the 41st minute. Tom Colling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witold Lepucki was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tom Colling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Alfons Siggesson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fågelmara IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Fågelmara IK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Lars-Erik Esbjörnsson hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Lepucki in the 69th minute of play. Tom Colling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Siggesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Felix Montenegro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Tom Colling 81 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, one of Fågelmara IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fågelmara IK. Tom Colling went to the wrong direction when Daniel Zorita was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, Fågelmara IK's Fabinho Coutinho got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Tom Colling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The Fågelmara IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
