Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Aysouraguán's attentive Rufino Castelao managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. After having played for 5 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry Salazar kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Aysouraguán booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Tasis charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Tasis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Abi Russo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abi Russo in the 19th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufino Castelao, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Abi Russo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abi Russo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Abi Russo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abi Russo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Lautaro Puig fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jaizki Valverde, passed just outside the right post. Henry Salazar charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Salazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Henry Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Abi Russo made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Aysouraguán's Abi Russo pulled a muscle in his back after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Carballo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aysouraguán made a substitution. Seve Higuera replaced Abi Russo. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Aysouraguán. Jesús Casado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 0-3. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aysouraguán were winning 0-3.

Seve Higuera struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aysouraguán. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Jaizki Valverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Seve Higuera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Aysouraguán's Jesús Casado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Aysouraguán's Rufino Castelao. In the 76th minute Seve Higuera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Salazar. In the 84thth minute of the game Seve Higuera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Aysouraguán could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
