Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Marud in the 14th minute of play. Cristian Sancho did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Hugon Marut 16 minutes into the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute. Elvio Aznar hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Log Horizon getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Edgar Ziombkowski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Log Horizon's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugon Marut came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugon Marut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Sixto Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvano Unax was slow to take the kick. During this time Log Horizon's players had a chance to rest. Log Horizon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvano Unax in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Hugon Marut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute of the match. Log Horizon's Hugon Marut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute of play. Mervin Corley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugon Marut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hugon Marut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of play forced Log Horizon's goalkeeper Hugon Marut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugon Marut was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Hugon Marut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 86th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugon Marut. Log Horizon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
