To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Dominik Piczak could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Grzegorz Szamotulski came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luis Andino in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Grzegorz Szamotulski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Krivé hnáty getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marián Had hit a great ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
