Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Jose Sanz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Formentera's Justino Hondo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Sanz during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Jose Sanz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Urki went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Formentera's Domingo Urki in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Domingo Urki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Jacobo Nores skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Jose Sanz got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st play minute Domingo Urki came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacobo Nores. 2-0. If Domingo Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Eustaquio Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Bartuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Jose Sanz in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Formentera's Justino Hondo. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Urki in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Domingo Urki might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domingo Urki ran back to his position shaking his head. Formentera's Domingo Urki got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Bartuelo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 43 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernández. Bernardo Ignatius's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Ignatius helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingo Urki was the one to do the kick off. Eustaquio Bartuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Domingo Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formentera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Urki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Urki came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eustaquio Bartuelo hit a great ball. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Formentera's Justino Hondo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Sanz in the 75 minute of the game. When Formentera's Domingo Urki in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Domingo Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Paraguay's Jose Sanz got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Jose Sanz off the ground. Jose Sanz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The supporters of Formentera booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Urki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90th play minutes Domingo Urki shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Jacobo Nores and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Domingo Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Urki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Fernández charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Fernández the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernández. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
