Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Piearres Somiedo made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piearres Somiedo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vachon Camaño. Sporting Buceo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Piearres Somiedo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Somiedo in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Sidoro Romeu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vachon Camaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 1-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vachon Camaño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vachon Camaño. Vachon Camaño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sporting Buceo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidoro Romeu to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vachon Camaño. Vachon Camaño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 57th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Somiedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vachon Camaño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Vachon Camaño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Vachon Camaño. In the 78th minute, Jaizki Colina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 80th minute. Cristian Sancho had several of the Sporting Buceo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-8 score and a disappointed Vachon Camaño as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 91st minute Piearres Somiedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sporting Buceo.
