With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Sidónio Pacheco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Karpinski in the 9th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sidónio Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Sidónio Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Barrett was a little too slow when Cezary Karpinski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Cezary Karpinski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Barrett. The goal made the score 2-0. Sidónio Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Barrett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Sidónio Pacheco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Sidónio Pacheco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Karpinski came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidónio Pacheco in the 36th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidónio Pacheco went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Karpinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cezary Karpinski succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Sidónio Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Karpinski in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute Sidónio Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rua da Pinga's Cezary Karpinski got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Tabor came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rua da Pinga booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Davies didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Karpinski in the 74th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidónio Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Etienne Krummenacher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Erasmo Tabor put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidónio Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cezary Karpinski succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 10-0.
