Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baldemer Sevilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Baldemer Sevilla. Aysouraguán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samuel Negro hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Tomas Berganza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baldemer Sevilla, passed just outside the right post. After 33 played minutes Aysouraguán got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Negro. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Eloy Idiaquez made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Miguel Miralles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Miralles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Berganza scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldemer Sevilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldemer Sevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Aysouraguán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iban Abancens to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. Panama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
