After a defensive mix-up in Fresta BK Väsby's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Östlund came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Biörnberg got free with Julio Vera in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Jens-Åke Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play.

Fresta BK Väsby's Jeronimo Perfecto was substituted for Marcus Öberg. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Öberg to make the kick off. 53 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Agustín Saelices. After a rather tough play, Fresta BK Väsby's Henrik Biörnberg got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Though ot was a great shot Fresta BK Väsby's keeper Axel Östlund was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. When Jeronimo Perfecto came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Fresta BK Väsby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Perfecto couldn't finish the play.
