Armindo Bettencourt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfredo Ferrant showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 54 minute of play. Mario Fernandino made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Julio Chicote. After a rather tough play, Rua da Pinga's Joaquim Carvalhais got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 69th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Bettencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Bettencourt was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Alfredo Ferrant took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Armindo Bettencourt to make any attempt to save it. Rua da Pinga's Armindo Bettencourt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Rua da Pinga from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the game, Ismael Tejedor threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rua da Pinga's Angelo Correia quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 87th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Bettencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rua da Pinga's Armindo Bettencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Ferrant in the 94th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Rua da Pinga got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Correia. When the final whistle sounded Bolivia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rua da Pinga.
