Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Octav Traian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Christer Salqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Uszykowani NWS's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Octav Traian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Beaton came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Traian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Uszykowani NWS's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octav Traian came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uszykowani NWS the free kick. If Iwan Augustyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Christer Salqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After 63 minutes of play, Uszykowani NWS's Jardel Beaton made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 66 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Beaton in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jardel Beaton in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 74 played minutes, Uszykowani NWS's Şaban Yurdaşen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uszykowani NWS reached it. After having played for 83 minutes, Stasio Tutaj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uszykowani NWS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Tutaj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Octav Traian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Mariusz Banas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Christer Salqvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
