In the 32nd minute, Nikos Stavrou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 36th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikos Stavrou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Lipochσrion FC's Theagenis Giannou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 42nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Theagenis Giannou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikos Stavrou to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nikos Stavrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lipochσrion FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Stavrou in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes, Lipochσrion FC's Fanis Peros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lipochσrion FC reached it. With a little luck, Lipochσrion FC's Theagenis Giannou got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Theagenis Giannou came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 86th minute. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Theagenis Giannou could save by the left post. Lipochσrion FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
