Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Samuel Gorri scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. Juan Musso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes MirkoNicolas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Musso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Musso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. MirkoNicolas FC's Juan Musso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play forced MirkoNicolas FC's goalkeeper Juan Musso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 47 minutes into the match, MirkoNicolas FC's Santiago Raymon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Gorri made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Precioso during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to MirkoNicolas FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Paulo Precioso hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Juan Musso firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 53rd minute Aureliano Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of MirkoNicolas FC's Juan Musso. Juan Musso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it.
