Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pepe Sand started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Pucará's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Lautaro Morales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Pucará's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Basilio Bertran did an outstanding performance 15 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-0 to the right of an irritated Jonathan Ferrant in the goal. If Dario Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julián Aude hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Artizar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Pucará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julián Aude didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Pucará's Pepe Sand dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Tomás Belmonte's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Morales having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match, Faustino Sayveon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Morales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. With his leg Lautaro Morales managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 65 minutes into the match, Pucará's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Lautaro Morales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepe Sand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Morales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepe Sand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pucará's Franco Orozco was substituted for Pepe Sand. After 80 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Orozco in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Dario Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pucará's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Artizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The throw-in from Alex Chicote in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pucará's Tomás Belmonte. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
