In the 13th minute, RO Army V55's Vinícius Junior ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Vinícius Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 23rd minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Iordanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, RO Army V55's Vinícius Junior made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RO Army V55. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Olcay Bozkurt sent off a good shot on target. Vinícius Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. If Vinícius Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olcay Bozkurt in the 53rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of RO Army V55's Alexandros Iordanidis. Alexandros Iordanidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Olcay Bozkurt came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Xun Jun in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Olcay Bozkurt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Edgardo Ugutz put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Ugutz went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score.
