Patrik Kovács could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, TUSE's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Béla Medgyesi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to TUSE getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Miloš Kerkez hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Béla Medgyesi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ödön Kertész's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ödön Kertész helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Ödön Kertész hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 19th minute of play forced TUSE's goalkeeper Béla Medgyesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TUSE's Patrik Kovács got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, TUSE's Konstantin Kondor got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Maximiliano Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Béla Medgyesi. TUSE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 28th minute, Alberto Gisbert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Béla Medgyesi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Maximiliano Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Béla Medgyesi. TUSE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Endre Kozma hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Camilo Covarrubias in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TUSE's István Szigethy. In the 38th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Béla Medgyesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Gábor Kárpáthy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TUSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After a rather tough play, TUSE's Gábor Kárpáthy got a free kick in the 39th minute. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. When Alberto Gisbert came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Gisbert couldn't finish the play. Ödön Kertész kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Béla Medgyesi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 58th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Patrik Kovács who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Miloš Kerkez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jaime Cazalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Konstantin Kondor charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konstantin Kondor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Béla Medgyesi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Béla Medgyesi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Béla Medgyesi came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Kovács in the 96th minute of the match.
