Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Pinhote FC's Guo Ming started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Joacim First made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Holger Siöberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastião Andrade made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After 11 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Siöberg in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Joacim First in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 21st minute. Joacim First made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Anthony Alvarado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joacim First was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pinhote FC's Joacim First played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when David Blaine made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Joacim First in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Peru booed when Pinhote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Joacim First reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes Pinhote FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Joacim First took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Joacim First reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim First showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sílvio Luís Ceresso's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joacim First came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 77th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Andrade. 80 minutes into the game, Peru's Eliseo Mina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joacim First made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Joacim First showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Sebastião Andrade made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 94 minutes into the game, Peru's Rafael Gallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joacim First made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Peru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pinhote FC for a fine match.
