Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodrigo Nestor kicked off to start the match. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Nestor in the 4th minute. Mehmet Akif Ersoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Corrêa came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Corrêa got free with Dante Lacasa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Dante Lacasa had great luck who in the 21stth minute grab hold of the ball when Rodrigo Nestor from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Nestor in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of play forced ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Mehmet Akif Ersoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Akif Ersoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, ZigZag Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Öman to maneuver through the defense. After 37 minutes ZigZag Athletic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mehmet Akif Ersoy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Akif Ersoy. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes ZigZag Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Nestor. 48 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, ZigZag Athletic's Mehmet Akif Ersoy got control of the ball when Joel Gaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicki Nick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by ZigZag Athletic's Nicki Nick. But to his dismay, Nicki Nick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 58th minute, Luca Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mehmet Akif Ersoy. The goal made the score 1-2. ZigZag Athletic made a substitution. Per-Olof Brolin replaced Kjell Boberg. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Nestor in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when ZigZag Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Öman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. ZigZag Athletic's Mehmet Akif Ersoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save ZigZag Athletic from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Akif Ersoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 71st minute. ZigZag Athletic's Mehmet Akif Ersoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 72nd minute of play. Nicki Nick struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZigZag Athletic. ZigZag Athletic's Mehmet Akif Ersoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Mehmet Akif Ersoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 83 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Bengt-Rune Öman got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ZigZag Athletic supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
