Cavallino Rampante II's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ernesto Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cavallino Rampante II's Fabian Jarosiewicz in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Fe was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ubaldo Gonzales was the one to do the kick off. When Cavallino Rampante II's Fabian Jarosiewicz in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ernesto Fe made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Fe, 0-2. After having played for 72 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the game's 78th minute Mexico's Alberto Tafalla took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Ernesto Fe and thus the score was 0-3. In the 83rd minute Fabian Jarosiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Ernesto Fe however easily saved by the left post. 90 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cavallino Rampante II's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 93rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cavallino Rampante II throughout the match.
