AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s Yuri Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yuri Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Batista. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Félix Mielle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Montenegro came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AF GuiFiguer OUT!! booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Félix Mielle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Félix Mielle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AF GuiFiguer OUT!! booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Jardel Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line.

AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s Jonathan Messias was substituted for Sandro Leite. The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Hoffmann in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Félix Mielle threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Tony Hoffmann made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Félix Mielle made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Félix Mielle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Hoffmann in the 88th minute of the match. After 91 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeronimo Evis who took care of the corner kick. 93 minutes into the game, AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s Tony Hoffmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AF GuiFiguer OUT!! fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
