Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anthon Åström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ronny Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Åström in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of BENA FK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthon Åströms short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Sundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by BENA FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After 12 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Billock. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kant Spel's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. BENA FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fedai Oktan in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on BENA FK's corner Fedai Oktan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Panaiteanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Ronny Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ronny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ronny Sundström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Sundström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Sundström was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kant Spel in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match BENA FK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fedai Oktan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 48 minutes, Helge Jönsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BENA FK and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Helge Jönsson. The BENA FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Luis Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BENA FK the free kick. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Anthon Åström came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the BENA FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthon Åström couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Ronny Sundström in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BENA FK's Ola Utter was substituted for Anthon Åström. In the 73rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ronny Sundström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind BENA FK's goalkeeper Ronny Sundström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Sundström having to interfere. BENA FK's Ronny Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Utter went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronny Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 97th minute of play. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing BENA FK to leave the ground with a draw.
