Edoardo Corna's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Rolf Skarsø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of the match. Rolf Skarsø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Molina di Quosa's Edoardo Corna. But to his dismay, Edoardo Corna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 38th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fc Molina di Quosa booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolf Skarsø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 46th minute. When Pavel Lukšík fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Molina di Quosa's protests and gave Pavel Lukšík a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Rolf Skarsø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Fc Molina di Quosa getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Matt Verbraecken hit a great ball. When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Fc Molina di Quosa's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Rolf Skarsø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Facundo Cadaval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Lukšík, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute, Pavel Lukšík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Corna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fc Molina di Quosa booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes of play, Fc Molina di Quosa's Pavel Lukšík made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rolf Skarsø didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but Fc Molina di Quosa were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
