Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcin Resel in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Gruszowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Bernard Zajac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pawel Panasewicz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Marcin Resel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes, Gruszowiec's Ksawery Polkoski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gruszowiec reached it. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernard Zajac having to make a save. Bernard Zajac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Marcin Resel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gruszowiec. When the referee ended the match the Gruszowiec players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
