Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fanis Geronimidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Fanis Geronimidis made a huge save. In the 15th minute Evren Yezid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match Belotaurus FC got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erivaldo Perez ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 19th minute Silviu Novac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Fanis Geronimidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Doni Cordeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Pozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fanis Geronimidis made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Doni Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Doni Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. In the 51st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Geronimidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 51 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fanis Geronimidis. Belotaurus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Erivaldo Perez sent off a good shot on target. Doni Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Belotaurus FC's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Geronimidis came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Fanis Geronimidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doni Cordeiro got free with Thiago Pliego in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Novac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doni Cordeiro in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Belotaurus FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Strazzabosco. The Belotaurus FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Belotaurus FC's Silviu Novac looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute of the match Mariano Lacasa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fanis Geronimidis skillfully saved the ball. Dario Strazzabosco made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Evren Yezid immediately put the ball in play. In the 95th play minute Evren Yezid came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thiago Pliego. 1-3. Belotaurus FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
