Boleslaw Golob charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boleslaw Golob the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Boleslaw Golob hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. If Evelio Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Mattin Boiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattin Boiro took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Mattin Boiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Armindo Belém put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Belém in the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Armindo Belém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinará FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armindo Belém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armindo Belém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vinará FC were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armindo Belém to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Mattin Boiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinará FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattin Boiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Belém in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Yepes. The supporters of Vinará FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Armindo Belém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattin Boiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 66 minutes into the match, Armindo Belém notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Armindo Belém tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moises Fernandino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konrāds Rabkins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattin Boiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Mattin Boiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita. Mattin Boiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Belém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Vinará FC's Mattin Boiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8.
