Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 minutes Branco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aaron Inge quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 21stth minute of the game Luis Andino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Branco FC's Aaron Inge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Aaron Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes, Branco FC's Mehmet Halis İley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Branco FC reached it. In the 39th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mitch Dekens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Branco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match, 孟源枫 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play forced Branco FC's goalkeeper Aaron Inge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Mitch Dekens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
