Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Rüştü Rencber in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rüştü Rencber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsa Fındık, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, İsa Fındık put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. When Gökay Ömür fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valar morghulis's protests and gave Gökay Ömür a yellow card for diving instead. Ecuador's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
